Local Oregon companies sell this model for less, and charge $300 for installing it. If Az charges what amounts to the local price, IMHO it should also provide installation and guarantee the stove will work for 1 year labor and 5 year manufacture defect. The local price is $1899+300 w/those guarantees and a local reputation standing behind it. The locals also dispose of the old stove. That alone is worth $100 labor, for someone who does not have a truck or can't lift it. Amazon does offer similar replacement/installation services for other home appliances such as clothing dryers, washers, dishwashers.

The local company came right on time did a great job with the stove itself and left no mess. Email me if you live in Oregon and need the contact info.

A pellet stove in winter provides 76% efficient heating, is "green," and is low cost compared to electric furnaces, which run, in my experience, twice as much $$$, and I have the PG&E bills to prove it. Pellets are $5-6 a 40 pound bag at Home Depot (you haul), or local mill will deliver a pallet of pellets for $300, you put it away so that it does not obstruct neighbors or thoroughfares. I bought a tonne after several trips to HD/Ace for the cheap stuff. It is cheaper because it is dusty, the dust does not burn, it clogs. The good pellets say "Doug Fir" and tell you where exactly the mill is, email me for brands recommended by the seller of the stove. The pellet quality DOES make a difference, you spend less time cleaning. The installer did do a "chimney sweep" which involved replacing a stove pipe and cleaning up what fell out of the old one that would not fit the Wolf Stove, which is slightly bigger in the base than the 12 year old QF (new ones might be the same or larger).
