I've been married for almost forty years to a terrific man who puts up with the idiosyncrasies of life with a writer. We raised two really great kids who are now wonderful adults with terrific spouses--and they've produced six grandchildren for us. ALL perfect, of course!

The Chanku have come from around the country to Montana for a gala as Tia is giving birth to twins. The labor is hard and her lifemate Luc upset. So each decides to tell an exploit before they understood they were shapeshifters; an event that changed them.

They talk through the night and time passes in good company. However, when Tia gives birth to the twins, one is dying. The Chanku come together sending waves of sexual energy to save the life of the newborn.

The latest Wolf Tale thriller is more an extended family drama than the usual erotic romantic suspense although there are plenty of sexual encounters of seemingly every kind. The story line is fast-paced from the onset, but lacks the nasty external villains that assault the Chanka in their several sanctuaries. Instead the issue focuses on saving the baby, which makes for an intriguing crisis with an even more fascinating solution. Readers will appreciate this strong but different entry that also contains a scorecard to assist on who belongs to whom.

Tia's having her baby and the clan has gathered in Montana at Anton's place for the birth. Most of the pack has gathered to support her. Her dad and Millie, Tala and her men AJ and Mik, Adam, Lisa, Mai, Oliver and of course Anton, Keisha, Stephan and Xandi, have all come together to be part of the birth.

As it ends up being a long night, everyone has a chance to tell stories of things that happened before they came to the pack. The stories are wonderful! I've really gotten to know the characters over the course of the series and it was touching to find out how AJ and Mik met and what happened with Anton in Europe.

Whether this is your first Wolf Tales or your ninth, I think you'll love this story. I did! :-D

I loved this book as it tied in alot of the characters stories into this one book. I love the way that Kate Douglas gives life to her characters. If the raunchiness of the book doesn't offend you, you will love this book as much as I did.
