Most contributors of this special volume are former students and researchers of the prestigious and prolific 'Freiburg School' of Human Genetics. Covering a wide range of topics, this issue includes reviews or original research reports on molecular and clinical genetics, molecular cytogenetics, tumor genetics, genetic diseases, mutagenesis, sex determination, chromosome organization and function, and immunology, to name but a few examples. Some anecdotal papers relating to Dr. Wolf and prepared by some of his friends are also included.
