Very happy with layout of keyboard and overall quality of product. I play a lot of BF2142 and this keyboard fits my needs perfectly. The keys I use most are much more accessible than a regular keyboard and better yet it has opened up the possibility of using several keys that I couldn't get to easily before. And it works right out of the box, which is great for Windows Vista and the problem of obtaining drivers with some other products--just plug in and play!

The learning curve was really just about getting used to the new keys you can now reach, otherwise, there was no true "break-in" period.

Definitely a very positive change in my gaming!

I have been using an ordinary Logitech keyboard for about 6 years. I just happened to find this one advertised on the internet and was taken by the unique design. Being a gaming nut I spend quite a few hours at the keyboard so ease and comfort is a priority. This keyboard is laid out well and I can spend hours of quality gaming time on it without getting a cramp in my left hand. An added plus is the smoothness and responsiveness of the key action. When I am using this keyboard, as I am now, I would guess that I had spent a whole lot more for it. I did try to get the exact measurements for it before I bought it but could not. Hope these measurements will help you in your decision. 20 3/4" long by 8 3/8" wide by about 1 1/8" thick (not including the keys).

This is a nice keyboard.

For gaming it has just about anything you would need for FPSs to MMOs.

The only downside of this keyboard is that it has no number pad or media controls and the warrior pad end of it doesn't have the function keys like the original warrior gaming keyboard.

This can be used as the sole keyboard for a computer but I suggest having another standard keyboard for mundane things and using this only for text entry and gaming.

Also this keyboard seems more well built then the warrior key pads and is far more versatile. So, skip the warrior pad and get this instead. Because other than those two little things this is great keyboard.

Con:
Not a significant improvement in key layout or ergonomics, the keys are just a tad bigger.
The pad is not detachable from the keyboard.


I don't think it was worth the cost. It didn't really improve the comfort or effeciency of my gaming.

It was a gift for our son (19yrs. old) Here are his thoughts-
Smart button design is very intuitive and easy to get used to. Is very helpful for all types of gaming-not just FPS. I like it alot and would reccomend it highly.

i bought mouse and keyboard at same time and love them both the mvp trooper mouse is super nice the keyboard is awesome i will use them till they no longer function and likely buy another like them lol best keyboard and mouse i have ever used

I have purchased two of these keyboards. I really miss not having the number pad on the right hand side. But the WASD layout makes up for it. If you are serious about gaming this is the keyboard to buy.

I love this keyboard, it works so well for both gaming and for regular keyboard use. I agree that it is odd getting used to the wolfclaw gaming style what with the space bar being vertical and closer to your 'a' 'w' 's' 'd' keys. Overall it's a great product and worth every penny.

just want to say that it only took me a few days to get used to the timberwolf gaming keyboard...The more i use it, the better i like it!
