I missed the $2.99 price as well. I honestly don't mind paying $9.99 for this CD. It is amazing. Creative and fun remixes of an already awesome CD. I love Rome, and Lasso. The whole CD flows together very well, none of the songs are choppy or out of place. Great to listen to in the car or at home cleaning... great to dance to!

Phoenix is a great band, so I'm giving this a five-star review. It can be very misleading when people read the reviews and click the Download MP3 Album and learn they are out $9.99 US. Fortunately, I avoided this catastrophe, although earlier in the day when I wasn't quite awake, I downloaded what I thought to be a FREE MP3 album and, hey voila!, I was out $5.94 US. Not exactly a king's ransom, I'll admit, but when the order is Pending and there is no apparent way to Cancel an erroneous purchase of a Pending download (a prior purchase was downloading, so the $5.94 mistake was on the back-burner in the queue...), this is a problem. PARTICULARLY when Amazon sticks what was recently a free download in with a list of free downloads and every review puts enormous emphasis on the download being free.

Once upon a time, this was an much less expensive download. I'm sure it's well worth $9.99 but I don't want others finding themselves being surprised because they've just spent more than they intended on an item they cannot cancel.

I greatly appreciate the inexpensive and free music downloads Amazon makes available. They (Amazon) are very generous and help tremendously getting in some great music by artists into the ears of listeners who might otherwise be unaware of truly great bands like Phoenix. BUT I am putting this review up as a red flag to those who think $2.99 US still gets you this album. I wish I'd spotted the download while it was still inexpensive, but we can't win 'em all. Still, I'm sure this is worth $9.99 for those of us who are seriously hooked on Phoenix.

i love phoenix in general. these remixes are good and for only 2.99? wow its like 15 songs and i had some music credit from amazon so i didn't pay anything i would of anyways but, good remixes and it is cheap if you like phoenix then you must get this!

Bought this for 2.99, Really enjoy the alex metric remix. Some of the slower remixes at the end make for a good comedown from the front end. All in all, a great value.
