This cooker is an efficient kitchen appliance. Low maintenance and very easy to use. I used to have to set timer to manually turn the pressure cooker off with the manual ones, but this electric pressure cooker is really handy. I am using it much more often than the manual one. So far I must have used it at least 25+ times. I got it for really cheap and it has paid for itself 10 times over. This is a easy to use cooker that helps me get lunch or dinner ready without having to hang out in kitchen for more than 10 mins. I had purchased one for $30 but I would easily buy another one for $60.

This pressure cooker is so easy to use and makes really tasty meals. The best part, however, is the easy, easy cleanup. The inner pot is removable and teflon coated, so all you have to do is lift it out and quickly wash it. No muss, no fuss. It's also really easy to cook in. The thing I hate about crockpots is that you have to decide in the morning what you want to eat that evening. Sorry, but I'm a spur-of-the-minute gal. With this pressure cooker, I can decide anywhere from 10 minutes to 90 minutes ahead of time what to prepare. You can toss the meat in frozen, along with some veggies or rice ... set the timer and forget it. Oh, decide to go do something else at the last minute? No problem, it will cook while you're gone, then switch over to 'warm' till you return; then you can pop in the fridge and have it the next day. What could be easier? There is one improvement I would add and that is an audible sign that it is through cooking. Not a huge problem, I just set one of my kitchen timers (stove or microwave) for how long I set the pressure cooker for, but still a built-in signal would be nice. As my title says, I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT !!!!!

I am not a stranger to electric pressure cookers. I have been using one several times per week for the past three years. The last one I had needed to be replaced and I purchased this model. It looked simple, and I didn't need a lot of extra features that I never used on my last unit. The first time I tried it, I was in love. It was simple and worked well. What more could I want? I used it the next day and it quit. It wouldn't come up to pressure, so I checked the gasket. Everything was fine, and I tried again. It briefly came up to pressure, but then the timer counted down 10 minutes in about 3 minutes and it turned off. This unit is not a good purchase.
