Do not buy this appliance. The operating manual is totally incorrect. The appliance will not operate if you use the instructions in the operating manual. The appliance will not operate less than 8 hours in the low mode. Wolfgang Puck should be ashame to have his name associated with this expensive piece of junk....Buyer Beware....

This looks lovely, but never worked properly. I followed the programming instructions exactly, but there's a disconnect between their manual and their product. Save money and frustration by going with a different brand.

My cooker was bought as a gift for me on Dec 5, 2012. I first attempted to use it around 1/20/2012. It did not work. The failure mode was this: if you reduce the time from the default cooking time, the heater will not come on. If you leave the cook time set at the default time, the heater will come on.

I called Wolfgang Puck. They wanted me to cut off and ship them the electric cord, at my expense, along with a check for $12.95 to cover shipping me a new base for the slow cooker.

But what happens if the next one does not work? Based on the reviews on this site, the odds are good I'll get another bad one. So ....

I contacted Amazon. They printed me a UPS shipping label and I dropped the box off this morning at the UPS store. Amazon covered the cost of the return and my account is being credited with the cost of the cooker. Thank you Amazon!!!!!!

Finally, the Wolfgang customer service person I talked to did suggest that I try holding in the Time button while hitting the up and down arrows to adjust the time. This didn't work or change any of my symptoms, but just thought I would mention it here in case it helps someone else.

I'm not planning on buying any more Wolfgang Puck appliances since they are not taking responsibility for their products.

The crock pot is difficult to program but once learned it is not too bad. The issue is that after 18 months of occasional use it ceased to cook. This is the shortest lived slow cooker I have ever owned and given the price it should last longer.

I purchased the Wolfgang Puck slow cooker WPSC0010 at Amazon and it was delivered promptly... I opened it up and the unit is beautiful... I followed the directions but could not get it to work..The timer would set and the temp would not...Then I tried to just hit the on button and the time changed and on and on..I called the customer service number on the back of the directions and spent 30 minutes with a rep that did her best to help..She simply gave up and said I needed to contact Amazon to return the unit..I got cut off while she was looking up a contact number for amazon..and since I had a fresh pork roast in the unit I went to a local store and purchased a different slow cooker. I will try to get the contact number for Amazon tomorrow since the customer service was closed by the time I purchased a new slow cooker and turned it on with no problem...

Worked great until the crock insert cracked on both units.
One cracked completely in half while cooking the 2nd one cracked part way across while cooking.
Now we have 2 nice stainless slow cookers without anything to cook in.

You will be sorry. First thing I noticed was that the entire unit rocked on its 4 legs. Terrible engineering. But then I noticed that the glass lid rocked on the crock. It won't fit correctly. Two opportunities to get pulled in quality control and it gets out. This tells us that either: 1) there is no quality control, or; 2)there are hundreds getting out with one defect for every one that gets out with two. I called the company, W.P Appliances Inc. The only offered two solutions and BOTH REQUIRED ME TO SPEND MONEY TO GET THEIR PROBLEMS REMEDIED. Bad company. Bad products. Bad quality control. When consumers send their dollars to companies like this, they will get more of the same. Make a statement. Buy something else.

I bought a Wolfgang Puck One Touch Versa Cooker one year ago. It broke shortly after receiving it. After many phone calls and emails, and promises to send me a replacement... I have received nothing. One year my friends, and I still have not been refunded nor has the product been replaced. Wolfgang you should be ashamed of the company and product that you put your name on. SHAME! Be aware that if you buy this product you may experience the same lack of support I got. Money down the drain!

What an ordeal. First time used would not work. Timer does not work. Customer Service what a joke. After holding for 1 hr I was told to cut the cord off and return to WP Productions by certified mail. After my claim is reviewd they will send a new element. Never again.
