Buyer BEWARE. Item shown is not the item pictured. The item shown is the former model version of this item (which had a MSRP of $149.99 v. this received model's $99.99 MSRP).We love our current model (as pictured) and ordered another as a gift for a friend who really liked ours. I cannot say the model received will function as the one pictured but, we really like the grill for searing steaks before roasting them & the griddle for making ~ 6 pancakes/at a time on weekends.

I Like the way it keeps food warm while I'm still cooking. And I have grilled every thing since I got it.

Nonstick coating failed just days after warranty expired,
By Michael Huntsberger (McMinnville, OT) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Wolfgang Puck Indoor Reversible Electric Grill/Griddle
I received one of these grills as a Christmas gift in 2010. I immediately put it to use and I loved it. I used it at least once a week, and often more frequently, for the following year. The only shortcoming was a patchy buildup of cooking residue on the griddle side. The one year warranty expired at the end of December 2011. Then, just days later, as I was working to scrub away the patchy buildup with a Dobie (a coating-safe cleaning pad), a 1 inch by 10 inch strip of the nonstick coating peeled off. My spouse contacted their customer service unit twice, and got no satisfaction. The company would only offer to sell her a replacement part (the grill/griddle) for $50.00. They took no responsibility for the coating failure. We feel totally ripped off.
