4.0 out of 5 stars Great CD! All original hit recordings!, April 21, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Wolfman Jack: Let's Cruise 1 (Audio CD)
If you're one of those people who is going mad trying to replace your 50s and 60s 45s on CD compilations, here's a good place to start. All the recordings on this two volume series are the ORIGINAL hit recordings-not rerecordings, and the sound quality is excellent. In case you're familiar with the "American Grafitti" soundtrack, and hate the fact that Wolfman Jack's voice is dubbed OVER some of the classic cuts, fear not. His voice has been added IN BETWEEN cuts on this CD. So although track one, for instance, may have a little shout out by Wolfman Jack at the beginning, the song itself begins and ends clean. And his voice is only added before about three or four tracks. Regardless, this is a great little compilation, and I hope DDC intends to release more.
