This review is from: The Wolfpen rusties: Appalachian riddles & gee-haw whimmy-diddles (Hardcover)
James Still's writing is a lost art. This book and other's I have from him are simple and clever. His words and wit remind me of those I heard as a child listening to old guys tell stories on the front porch, the barber shop, the feed store, or out on the farm. Worth checking out his poetry, short stories, as well as his riddles.
