I read this book when I was 14, me and a friend used to quote lines from the book but unfortunately the copy he had was very worn and soon fell apart. I was excited to see it on here and ordered two copies for both me and my friend. Needless to say it didn't disappoint even 13yrs after I read it the first time!! It is a very fast paced and very well written book, I was saddened to learn that it never had a sequel because the ending left it wide open for another book. Even so, I was glad to get to read this quick witted book from my past again!!

I first read this book back in either middle school or junior high. It's been a long time and I didn't really remember what this was about other than werewolves. Let me first say this has very graphic sex in it and very graphic rape/killing scenes. Even though werewolves are what attracted me to the book, it's main focus is the battle between good and evil; the battle between God and the Devil and their chosen warriors. It's a fast read, a page turner, and it was written a few years ago. The ending is not what you really expect and leaves you in the hopes of a sequel. But there is none. For a horror novel, this is excellent. I recommend it to adult teens and adults who want a good read.

Wolfsbane leaves you waiting for the next book,

I enjoy reading Mr. Johnstone's work, especially those in the horror genre. While "Wolfsbane" is not the best example of his work, it certainly isn't the worst either. My main complaint is that the ending leaves you waiting for the next installment in a series that never comes. This doesn't keep you from enjoying the book, but it does disappoint you somewhat at the end.
