after the tough wiring and instalation(which might have been easier if i just hooked it up to the normal horn but i put in its own switch) i can do the wiring in about 5 minutes now. but all that aside if you play this horn when its really nice and warm out its great. a few rules to note.
if the temp outside goes below 65 degrees F. take the motor inside. it doesnt work well after being out in the cold.
other than that rule, if you forget to take it off when it gets below 65. dont hit the switch... it will further mess up the horn. and you have a small chance if it got really cold out that it will work again. it does not like the cold. the cold kills it. they could have also made the horns metal so they dont break so easily.

Love the sound of Dixie! But it only lasted about 3 months, then it melted? We didn't use it that often, but it didn't last long.

I got this for my husband for Father's Day, and he installed it in his off-road vehicle. Let just say he got to use it three times all in the garage. The horn no longer works!

I bought this horn for my husband for Christmas. He always wanted a dixie horn, I was excited when I found this one on line. It was a little trouble to put on our 2009 F-250., but we went online and figured it out. When my husband 1st time blow horn very poor quality sound. less than 30 days later very worse if he tries to blow it. Not all horns will work, if they not want complete song went horn is blown. Company need to take product off the market. If you are looking to buy this horn just give your money to a needed family, THIS IS A BIG WASTE OF MONEY............

This does not work well. It sounds really bad and is an overall waste of money. I would not say it plays Dixieland song, more like it plays.. noise.

I ordered this as a gift for my son, who is in the service. He is having a lot of fun with it and loves it. It helped take the edge off not being home for Christmas. The only problem he is having is that he is stationed in AK and the compressor is getting too cold and not wanting to work as well. If you have a redneck on your list, this is a perfect gift!

i got it and installed it properly but the compressor didnt work it was broke. im extremely disappointed by this. i was really lookung for to having it and using it. got it as a birthday present and couldnt even use it cause the compressor was broke!!!!!!!

I got this for Christmas for my truck. I was a little challenging to install, but I have a big old Ford with plenty of room under the hood. I had to jerry rig it a little. I attached all 5 horns to a thin plank of wood and just wedged it in. It is nearly impossible to mount each horn individually in a different place. The horns are a little bulky and you have to get creative. It sounds good and is fairly loud... people get a kick out of it.

I actually bought this horn for my sister for Christmas. She has been talkin about getting it for 10 years now and i finalized it for her. She was in shock and couldn't wait to use this wonderful product that was so difficult to find elsewhere.
