4.0 out of 5 stars All you need to know about Wolverine but where afraid to ask
This book appears thanks to all the hype surrounding the 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' movie and for this reason, I must said I was a little skeptic about its content. However, I must said the book is really cool, showing images from Wolvie's most important comic appearences. 3.0 out of 5 stars The Wolverine Files: Oversized & Overpriced
Is the Wolverine Files worth $40? Depends on how hardcore of a Wolvie fan you are. I see it as a worthwhile investment just so I can improve my Wolverine Lore. But for most of you guys out there, steer clear of this until the price drops to $25. Overall, a 3/5.

This book appears thanks to all the hype surrounding the 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' movie and for this reason, I must said I was a little skeptic about its content. However, I must said the book is really cool, showing images from Wolvie's most important comic appearences. It's writtten in keyfab as if it was a dossier developed by SHIELD where all that is known about Wolverine's career is chronicled. The book comes with some cool drawing sheets (two of them by Dave Crockum) and the page material is awesome.
In the downside, being written in keyfab, it doesn't mention anything about the authors who contributed to create the Wolverine mithoogy over the years. Overall, it's a nice book that integrates Wolverine's complicated history.

5.0 out of 5 stars 99 cent store Gold, April 19, 2011
This review is from: The Wolverine Files (Hardcover)
I bought this at my local 99 cent only store and my nephew loved it so much, I went back and bought the rest of what they had and donated them to a few local libraries. It is a beautiful book with full color pages and chocked full of information about wolverine and some of the more important mutants he has fought against and alongside throughout the years. It doesn't read like a book, more like a collection of memos and documents arranged in order. Knowing how much joy this brings my nephew, I would have gladly paid $25 for it. If you like Wolverine and don't want to read a novel or want to see your child reading instead of playing video games, this is the book for you.

4.0 out of 5 stars If you like Wolverine..., April 11, 2011
This review is from: The Wolverine Files (Hardcover)
I got it for my brother & girlfriend who loves Marvel / Wolverine; in general, so they got it and loved it. The pictures are amazing, the book is heavy, sturdy & thick. Its a hard cover book with old & new art work inside with great color...
