These Steel toe shoes with Durashock insoles are comfortable and look good with docker slacks or jeans. They also have a steel toe which is required at my place of work. I have had a pair of these shoes for over two years now and they are just wearing out now. I am going to buy another set to replace them because I have liked them so much.

I am a light-blue collar worker - middle management at a plant! I need to be able to work on the floor but look professional, so I bought these shoes. They go on easy, look good, and it's hard to tell they are steel toed.

The negatives:
1) The grip isn't very anti-slip, it's not bad, but tennis shoes are better.
2) To get the shoe to look good the toe width isn't as large as I would like. My left foot is ~1/2 size bigger than my right, I could have used a 1/4 shoe size bigger so my left pinky wasn't as crammed. If I went to the next size up, my right foot would have slipped out of the shoe too easily and I wanted slip ons!
3) My biggest complaint and the most important for some - the cushion is FIXED! You can not remove them, so you can not put in any inserts - for me, my arch supports need to have the inserts removed, if you don't, the height of the shoe isn't enough to fit your feet, plus it would similar to walking on platform shoes.

Almost a perfect match between form and function though. Good try!

Have been very pleased with these shoes.. They are available in wide sizes (!), and last forever.
I wore my first pair daily for over a year, and the second pair lasted a year and a half. The tread on the soles wears like iron... Not the most stylish, but boring though they may be, "comfortable feet are happy feet"...

My husband's regular shoe size is 7.5. The first pair we ordered was 8EE. They were too snug. Returned them for 8EEE and he couldn't even get his foot into them! Had to return them. I guess it's not easy buying shoes online. Nice looking shoes though!

I took the advice of other reviewers and bought one size bigger and one width wider. These are still too snug. Plus the toe cap hit my big toes. I presumed they were twisted. I twisted the caps away from my toe and now they are okay, but the shoes are snug so I won't know for a while how to rate them for long term wearing as I am wearing them around the house to stretch them out prior to wearing them for a 10 hour day on a concrete floor.

If I were to buy them again I would get them 1/2 size bigger than I did. I take a 10 and I got an 11. I would go with an 11.5 next time. I don't think they come in 4E so I'm out of luck getting them wider.

As far as the side and heal, they are good. I have low ankle bones and they do not hit my ankles. The backs do not cut into the tendon.

Looks to be well made, and all material is high quality.

11/19: been wearing them daily at work. They are still breaking in but they are working out fine. Since I twisted the toe cap my toe does not hit it any more. I bumped up my review from 4 stars to 5. They are a recommended buy.

The Marcum slip on shoe from wolverine is a top of the line shoe. The durashock sole is the best
Two bad things -- They only come in steel toe . which makes heavy in toe end
Second is that the steel toe runs narrow in the toe area. so order a wider size. (then looks like clown shoe :( )
So if you need a steel toe shoe and work on concrete all day. These a great shoe that will last more than a month.
Give it a try.

Shoes fit well for 10 1/2. However I ordered 3E width, and they are still just a bit narrow. I have been able to wear them in so they fit better. Also, the leather sucks water in like a sponge. I had to saddle soap and the then polish them with brown polish to get them to repel water. Now they are what I expected when I ordered them, but they are still good shoes.

This is an inferior product. They are sized too small and they are already coming apart. I wouldn't recommend these shoes to my worst enemy. They also charge you, the customer, the shipping fee to return. HUGE waste of time and money, very disappointed.

My husband is a true size 10 but needs the triple EEE width. We found these were like a normal width with a small instep height. The quality was fine and it had all the features that we wanted but just too small.
