I purchased this toy as a Christmas present for my superhero-obsessed 5 year-old godson. It was relatively inexpensive, and a big hit. The pre-recorded vocalizations and slashing sound effects were initially cool and amusing, but it didn't take very long for the adults in the room to realize the high annoyance level of having them repeated endlessly by an enthusiastic child excited with his new toy ;-)

My godson was enjoying his new toy quite a bit, when I literaaly just happened upon an internet warning regarding the very same toy I had just given him a half-hour ago. It cited the Wolverine figure as one of "The 10 Worst" toys of 2009 (see the link and information below). Needless to say, I sheepishly apologized to his parents, who secretly disposed of the toy a few days later when my godson wasn't around. A shame and a waste, but a necessary step given the information I discovered. Hopefully no one else will waste THEIR hard-earned cash on this dangerous toy.

Wolverine has rigid, pointed plastic claws sporting three 1 1/2" protrusions on both fists. The right "pop-out" claw retracts upon impact, whereas the left claw remains rigid and unforgiving upon contact. Incredibly, there are no warnings on either the box or the toy itself."

My son loves this toy and he is so rough on it and it still looks great. Very durable!

My grandson is a huge fan of Wolverine. This was a gift for his 4th birthday and he absolutely loves it! Couldn't get enough of the sounds, slashing action, and popping claws! I believe this was "the big gift" of his birthday party. Arrived super quick. Great vendor.

When I received it I liked it very much but after 2-3 days of use hand became loose.

Great toy for the price. Sounds are incredible. My two sons (2 and 4 years old) love it.

My 3yo loves all super heros & this one fits the genre.
Very easy to manuever for 3 yo fingers and it's larger than you would think. It's probably 15 inches & bulkier than a Ken doll but still a cool action finger.
It has sound effects which are great but can go off with a vibration.
Amazon had a great price on the toy so I couldn't pass it up!

My 13 year old son "accidentally" opened the box when it arrived. He played with it for hours. I don't get the appeal, but the other boys around his age sure enjoy fighting with it. He sits it next to him when playing the video game. Definitely a boy toy. Sound quality is very good.

Toy seems pretty durable and he will probably love the sounds that the figure makes. Was doing early xmas shopping so he hasn't really had a chance to play with it yet and the little testing I did says he will probably like this action figure. It's not too big and it's not to small.

This is a toy my four year old Grandson will love. He is really into Wolverine.
