This review is from: The Grey Wolves (DVD)
This collection, beautifully assembled and narrated, tells the story of the comitted men, soldiers, who had the mettle and opportunity to possibly win the war for Hitler. Fortunately, Hitlers meddling and dilletantism saved the day for the allies. This is informative, fascinating and, at times, touching, such as the occasional playing of the hymn "Ich hat' einen Kameraden" (I had a comrad), written in 1808, and the German version of "Taps". The writer, editor and narrator, Michael Leighton, an Englishman who obviously is fluent in the German language due to his flawless pronunciation, has put together a truthful, sensitive compilation of the facts. There exists no better documentary on this subject. My compliments! It is a good job.
