Not her best, but not bad,

I've read several of the author's books, starring Septimus Finch, which I find very entertaining and well-written. This is not her best, but the reader could do a lot worse. There just wasn't enough depth to the story, to the investigation. Read some of her other books, don't be put off by this one.
