If you're interested in Japanese women's literary criticism in English, this may be the ONLY book for you since I've never seen another like it. She has reviews written by both Japanese men and women and it's interesting to see how criticism was written in Japan. I recommend it, not just for those with a literary bent, but for those interested in Japanese history in general. It's a fascinating read.
