wonderful story,
By
This review is from: Woman Of The Dawn (Paperback)
I very much enjoyed reading Woman of the Dawn. I "coincidentally" found it the other day, and I read through it very quickly. She lived a wonderful and fascinating life!
Living in a city (Baltimore) and working in a fairly corporate 9-5 setting, yet feeling like my "real" job lies elsewhere, I could very much relate to so much of what she wrote, particularly in the early stages of forging her path. I'm trying to find the courage within myself to take the steps needed for whatever is next on my path, and reading her story really gave me courage and hope that this may be possible for me, too. I'm very happy that she put amazing story on paper so that it could be shared with the world!

A rare gem of a book - don't miss it,

This review is from: Woman Of The Dawn (Paperback)
Too bad this book is out of print. However, those who are interested in the Native American prophesy and spirituality, do NOT miss this one. Wabun Wind started out as a professional writer and journalist, and her shining intellect, scientific skepticism, and eloquent prose make this novel stand apart from others on the same subject. Her uncanny candor, sharp insight, and genuine compassion keeps the reader spellbound as she chronicles a major part of her adult life, which was spent on her own Vision Quest. Highly recommended.
