Brilliant, February 15, 2001
This review is from: The Woman in Jewish Law & Tradition (Paperback)
Mr. Kaufman has compiled an all-comprising encyclopedia of the Jewish woman, whose role might be different from men's but in no way less important. His comparisons with christian views on women are incisive and true. Without being apologetic mr. Kaufman defends the Jewish traditional view on women; some feminists who attack the Jewish view should read this book unprejudiced and find out what they're fighting!
