4.0 out of 5 stars pink cinema, September 12, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: A Woman with Red Hair (DVD)
this is '70's pink cinema and the previous reviewer defined the genre exactly ..."The three stars are mostly for production deficiencies and, at times, half-baked direction and a low-budget production.". so i differ with his review because those qualities are what defined pink cinema in japan's '70's era. if you don't like pink cinema than of course you will not like this. otherwise, his review seems to review the existing circumstances in japan society at the time rather than the movie itself. consequently, it is an unfair review of the movie itself. this movie is one of the notable movies of the time primarily because of the director and the beautiful actress.
