5.0 out of 5 stars The Woman Sealed in the Tower, February 28, 2006
This review is from: Woman Sealed in the Tower: Being a View of Feminine Spirituality As Revealed by the Legend of Saint Barbara (Paperback)
The Woman Sealed in the Tower is a highly readable book which combines the psychology of C.G. Jung with the Christian tradition. Betsy Caprio uses the four ancient symbols of earth, air, fire and water to explore the four "inner women" present in all women. She goes on to discuss the "inner men" within a woman and how they can support or work against her. Included are written to relate these concepts to daily experience.

The Woman Sealed in the Tower is St. Barbara, the early Christian martyr whose legend developed into the fairy tale, Rapunzel. She may also be any woman in today's world.
