don't get scammed, August 18, 2005
This review is from: How to Get the Woman of Your Dreams Using the Internet (Paperback)
I think at least 2 of the 5-star reviewers below are ringers. One of them "reviewed" 13 other books in the same genre and every single one of them contained a glowing reference to this book. Another had a similar cut-and-paste job where all his reviews were the same, advertising 5 more crappy books. After reading this book I couldn't understand how anyone could rate it so highly... it's just plain bad.

Train Wreck, August 17, 2005
This review is from: How to Get the Woman of Your Dreams Using the Internet (Paperback)
I can't believe I made it halfway through this book. Normally I scoff at reviewers who write about a book they haven't even finished, but my love for humanity compels me to do something in this case. I was fooled into thinking this book was an exception. But it's actually as bad as the title suggests. Actually, it's worse. The author's constant instructions are so pedantic they're hilarius. Let me tell you about a few. The author advises us never to call a woman by her real name when chatting in real time. He makes this point and then comes back to it a page later to emphasize it. Because there's a chance you could get women's names mixed up. He says we should use the same pet names for everyone to avoid this. As if that's not bad enough, he proceeds to actually give us EXAMPLES of pet names we could use: "babydoll, sweetie, cutie pies, pork chop, dumplin, sweet cheeks." How about this one: say we're calling a girl from a different country who doesn't speak English as a first language. The author digs deep from his experiences and offers us this nugget of wisdom: "What I found out is that you must slow down when you talk..." He also says it's ok to lie about your age as long as it's only a couple years. For instance, you should say you're 38 instead of 40. Because after all, once you're in love that's such a little thing. If a woman says she plays piano, here's what we are to say: "I love the piano and I've always wanted to play." The author's view of relating is insincere: it's all about making her feel good. Not genuine adult-adult relating as I see it. He gives us personal examples of some of his electronic correspondence with presumably poorer women overseas and they're full of references to his motorboat, fancy car, and the fact that he will fly or have the girl flown to wherever. This would be tolerable, I suppose, if there were some original ideas on using the Internet, but I was more than halfway into it and hadn't seen any. Perhaps it got better at the end. What really makes me bitter about this is that it's a slim 100-page book, and the publisher is going to charge $19.95? Perhaps there are a lot of people who could really benefit from this book. But if you are even vaguely familiar with the internet, and if you're wanting to come from a genuine sincere place and are curious what that might look like, I doubt this book will help. Try Saying What's Real by Susan Campbell.

Very good information, August 18, 2005
This review is from: How to Get the Woman of Your Dreams Using the Internet (Paperback)
This book is full of useful things to help you with your search online. If you have never been on the internet or your a seasoned pro looking for some gret tips this is a good book to have. The book is broken down in very easy to follow steps. 1. What type of woman your wanting. 2. Where you want to look and where to look. 3. How to compose the best possible profile. 4. What to say to get her to contact you back and get your oppurtunity at love. 5. What to watch for when going online, like scams and traps that are out there. 6. Great advice on phone cards and how to go about getting visas and any other information you may be looking for or questions you may have. He even goes into great detail to break down all forms of communication and explain how you can determine what type of woman she is through them. I have read many books on this subject and I cannot stress more that this book will aid you and have you doing and dating women you never would of thought you had. The Author knows from experience what works but don't take my word for it go to the Detroit News where they did a HUGE 3 page article on him and learn for yourself... Best book and well written!
