A truly wonderful album!, October 6, 1999

I have heard JP called "the male version of the Indigo Girls." With all due respect to the Indigo Girls, that title does not do them justice. I went and saw JP for the first time in the Fall of 1994. The concert was fantastic! I bought this CD primarily because I liked the cover. It turns out I bought their best album. ("Live from the Americas" is a close second). I gave this CD to my sister and her friend played it on their college radio station. "Vineyard" became the station's most requested song! It's a shame that JP broke up, but if you buy this album you will see what a great team they were.

Still enjoy their music..., August 16, 2007

I still enjoy Jacopierce's music. I first heard them when I was a freshman in high school and loved the sound. I still enjoy it, and have turned my husband on to their music as well.

You will not be disappointed., September 28, 2006
This review is from: Woman as Salvation (Audio CD)
If you're looking at this incredible album, you more than likely have heard some of Jackopierce's material. If you have not, listen to the audio clips and I think you'll be sold. This is some of the best acoustic music you will ever heard. Its not terribly involved, however the lyrics and music blend so well, not too mention very well written. There is not a bad song on this album! From start to finish this album flows so well, that you'll just keep playing it. I have had this album for a long time and it is still as refreshing as it ever was. This one does not go stale!! I would recommend this album, the self titled debut, and Live At The Americas. Bringing On The Weather is good too. Get it!

My favorite CD, December 14, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Woman as Salvation (Audio CD)
Everytime I let someone new listen to this CD- I have turned someone new into a JackOPierce fan! It appeals to so many music styles and has a song for almost everyone to relate too. The music has an endless quality to it and I can't say enough about it! One of the worst injustices is that this band has left the music scene for a while- because their fan base continues to grow!

JOP is salvation for the soul, December 10, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Woman as Salvation (Audio CD)
This album opens up with an incredibly beatiful son Vineyard, and continuts on from there. A great album to sit around and soak in a hot tub to. Bubbles, candles, and wine are a must! And old friend and I absolutely adored this one. I would have given it 5 stars, but one song, "Baby Dont Love me no More" breaks the beatiful setting of the album.

A Truly Moving Album, October 19, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Woman as Salvation (Audio CD)
I have listened to this album so much I wore out the tape, time to buy it on CD. The songs are truly meaningful and moving. The emotion that JP puts into their music will draw you into the stories and leave you wondering which other album you will buy next.
