This book is for you....If you find yourself getting frustrated and angry more often then you like. If your sick of being angry, impatient and unloving to those around you. If you are a Christian woman who knows she needs God's help with this. If you believe God can change you and you trust Him. I'll be honest, this book was HARD to read. I had to put it down and just let it "digest" several times. It brought stuff up and out of me that needed to come out, but that was not comfortable by any means. If you find yourself snapping way to easily at your husband, children or anyone else you will want to read this book. If you find impatience or irritation just under the surface ready to unleash way to easily, this book is for you. If I could give it more then 5 stars I would. The author was truly inspired by God to humble herself enough to share her journey, and her humbleness permeates the entire book. If I could buy a copy for every woman I know I would. I will surely pass the copy I have onto as many as I can.

This is one of the best books I have ever read about coping with anger using Scripture and prayer. I particularly liked the Chapter entitled "Hug In and Hold On: Drawing near to God". Annie Chapman uses her own courageous honesty, real life experience and sound Scriptural teaching to back up her writing. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who has ever had a problem with anger - or for anyone who has ever felt anger. It is an invaluable resource offering a wealth of tools and guideposts to live by. Very easy reading and can use it as a workbook/guide if one wishes. The author offers a study guide at the end which one can use or not. This book works if the tools are put into practice and if one is open to grace. God bless!

My wife still yells at me all the time so either the book does not work, or she lied about reading it
