3.0 out of 5 stars My personal opinion.
I bought this book for my sister, who was suddenly handed divorce papers. She has thanked me several times. It really helped her. I have ordered several more.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Woman's Guide to Divorce, not just for the ladies, December 19, 2011
This review is from: A Woman's Guide to Divorce: A Practical Handbook (Paperback)
I was involved during the writing of this book. I think I typed and proofed every version of the book. James and I started working together back in 1977. I was his paralegal at the time this book was written and probably have several versions of the book still on disk somewhere before the final version was finished. I suggest you guys (not just the ladies) read the book. The book is very informative. Even though the book was published back in 1998, it is well worth it's money and has some great advice.

Divorce can be a very tramatic experience for some of us. I've been through it myself. James has been through it. I've been involved in many domestic relation cases over the past 35 years. Any married person should be prepared for this type of tramatic experience, even though you think it will not happen to you. It happens. I know. It happened to me. Divorce rates in Oklahoma are high. Be informed. Be prepared.

James is no longer in private practice. I entered law school in 1998 (at the old age of 38) and James left private practice the same year. I love him dearly. James became family many, many years ago. He holds a special place in my heart and always will.

So, if you are going through a divorce, or are married and living in Oklahoma. Buy a copy of the book and let me know your thoughts. You can email me at lawyer2000f@yahoo.com.
