A Woman's Guide to Natural Hormones asks and answers all of my questions about hormone replacement therapy. I now know that I have many more choices than my doctor has told me about. Ms. Conrad is an excellent writer and because of this book I believe I can now make informed choices concerning my healthcare. Thank you Ms. Conrad -- you are indeed helping women help themselves. This is a must read for any woman who is considering taking hormones for any reason!

5.0 out of 5 stars A book every woman should read, October 10, 2004
By
Pat H. (Chattanooga, TN) - See all my reviews
This review is from: A Woman's Guide to Natural Hormones (Paperback)
I read the book "A Woman's Guide to Natural Hormones" and was so excited to finally pull together so many health problems that I've been experiencing! High cholesterol, osteopenia, insomnia, lack of sex drive and sensation, depression and on and on. I had been going to my general pracitioner and gynecologist and neither could explain or cure my problems. They just added more and more medicines, each with its own set of side effects and multiplying my frustration and discomfort!

Reading this book was such a breath of fresh air that I ordered two for family members and tell everyone else I know to read it. After switching to natural hormones, I'm almost back to my old self -- I sleep well, have energy, am losing weight and have more interest in sex. AND - after adding some testosterone to the mix, I DON'T have facial hair and acne (like my GP said I would)!
