I first got this book simply because it's what my local library had. But I've been very happy with it. It has a lot of good advice for beginning runners. The best features, and what I use most, are the training schedules. Following the routines given, I've gained a lot of endurance and I'm running better than ever. Definitely recommend it for other women.
