Book Description

March 26, 2004
More than 20 million women have trouble sleeping at night. Yet sleep disorders among women are prone to misdiagnosis and therefore mistreatment. A Woman's Guide to Sleep Disorders is the first comprehensive book written about sleep disorders in women by a leading medical expert in the field. Dr. Kryger provides a thorough overview of sleep disorders among women. He shows how to determine whether a sleep problem is a disorder, help pinpoint causes, and what can be done to help. A resource guide, sleep questionnaire, and worksheet are included to assist the reader--and her doctor--in evaluating her condition.

This review is from: A Woman's Guide to Sleep Disorders (Paperback)
My husband bought me this book because I was having trouble sleeping. Dr. Kryger's fun, easy-to-read book has helped me tremendously. The chapters are clear, concise and well laid out for easy navigation. He uses engaging patient stories to bring the subject matter to life. Other sleep articles I have read are dense and difficult to follow, but Dr Kryger has gone to great lenghts to take the mystery out of sleep and offer helpful tips and suggestions.

I recommend this book highly to other women who suffer from frequent or occasional sleep issues!
