5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent! Really clear drawings on repairs you can do., February 16, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: The Woman's Hands-On Home Repair Guide (Paperback)
This is the home repair guide I have been waiting for! The repairs she chooses to discuss are ones you can really use. The drawings are crystal clear. This would make a great housewarming gift for a new homeowner.

3.0 out of 5 stars For someone who really doesn't have a clue..., October 20, 2003
By
This review is from: The Woman's Hands-On Home Repair Guide (Paperback)
This book isn't as comprehensive as I would have wanted. The information is basic and geared towards someone who has never held a screwdriver in her life. Although the repairs she reviews are thorough, I was hoping for something that focuses on more complex issues.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect Book For The Single Woman, August 23, 2005
This review is from: The Woman's Hands-On Home Repair Guide (Paperback)
I thought this book was fantastic! I like to consider myself "handyman challenged", but with this book, I actually took apart a sink drain and put it back together! Correctly and working I might add.

This book has lots of tips and tricks for basic maintenance and household repairs. It describes what you need to do step by step.
