I was fortunate enough to attend the Woman's Heart II concert in Dublin, Ireland many years ago and purchased this CD and "A Woman's Heart II" while there. The music is wonderful, a mix of beautiful songs that I find myself returning to over and over again. If you've ever been to Ireland, this music will make you remember your journey. If you've not been fortunate enough to visit that lovely land, pop this CD into your player, close your eyes, and imagine a beautiful isle of green filled with contrasting countryside and city experiences and people who are absolutely some of the best hosts in the world. This CD is also a wonderful introduction to some of the most popular Irish women musicians. I can't recommend it highly enough. The second one is good, but this is the one that sticks with me.

My roommate in college had this tape, which she played periodically while in the shower. When I left for Vienna, I took the tape has I had packed away most of my other music. This was six years ago. To this day, I still think of "In these troubled fields" and "Only a woman's heart" as they brought me solice and company during my solitary, reflective train rides through the Alps and along the Donau. May this music bring you peace and joy in your daily life.

I received this CD about three years ago as a freebie from another CD order. It was just a whim to pick, but what a great result! This was my first introduction to Celtic music and I have been hooked ever since. When the second CD came out I did not even look at the list of artists, I saw the title and immediately purchased it. I have not regretted it at all. Many of the CDs I now purchase are due to this particular CD I received free.

The songs and the music were so beautiful. The songs told some wonderful Irish stories, many full of sadness and of hope. The artists had beautiful voices. I found the CD to be one of the best and truly delightful.

The songs are beautiful to listen to and the lyrics are sung from the heart in all cases. You can really lie back and be absorbed by the Irish melodies and the sounds of the accordian and fiddle. The songs are of a varied nature, ballads and plenty of more jiggy tunes too. For me, this album holds great memories of friends and places, like the North coast of Ireland. It is truely the best album I have ever heard and will remain my favourite for the forseeable future.

My grandmother first got this CD when she was wandering around a bookstore and heard a man as for the CD by name. He said that his wife had the tape and that she had worn it out listening to it. My gramma figured that the music had to be good if someone listened to it that much. She then shared the CD with me and I loved it so much that I had to get my own copy!

I first heard this CD when I was studying in Germany. I absolutly loved it. I have been searching for it for what seems like forever and I am so excitted to recieve it. This will definately become one of your favorites because of the way it will touch your soul.

I was looking for music to send to a friend who is in the hospital having a bone marrow transplant. I happened upon this CD on Amazon. com. I borrowed the tape from a friend, but did not love it immediately. After listening to it several times it has thoroughly grown on me and I recommend it to anyone. The tunes stay with you. Lovely, lyrical, lilting voices. I will definitely send it to my friend in the hospital..........Enjoy!

I am a gentleman, of little irish blood, that found 'A Womans Heart' to be a very wonderful collection of the top female recording artists in Irealand today. It has a touch of folk, romantic,political, as well as two traditional Irish Jigs, that wont allow you to sit still, when you hear them. ' After the Ball is Over' has a piano concherto ending that is as beautiful as anything I`ve ever heard. several of the tunes are real tearjerkers, while several are light and gay, a very good mix, of very good music.

I recieved this CD from my Mother in-law, I guess she really must like me because it is the most beautiful music I have ever heard. It is easy listening and really enjoyable. I have recommened to many people and they have all been very pleased. It is a must buy!
