5.0 out of 5 stars Roll on Woman's Heart 3!
If you liked the first one you'll equally love this. There's a bit more variety and all the songs grow on you very quicky. Still getting played regulary here in Belfast.

3.0 out of 5 stars Hard to improve on perfection..
I purchased this CD after falling in love with the first Woman's Heart. That was and still is, one of my favorite CD's.

I purchased Woman's Heart 2 and I guess I was expecting it to be as great as the first one. There are some good tracts, but none that stood out that much,in my mind. I seldom play it. A good CD, but not a great one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just as fabulous as A Woman's Heart (1), September 25, 1998

This is a wonderful CD, very relaxing. I loved A Woman's Heart and this is just as great. A wonderful mix of artists, Dolores Keane is the best, as well as Frances Black and Maura O'Connell.

I think this album rates up there with the first compilation released a decade ago. The stand out track is Poison Tree by Marcia Howard and Mary Black and it is clear to see why it was lifted as the first single. It is a fine collaboration by two outstanding singers and signifies the powerful forces at work within this album. If you only buy one c.d. this year make sure it's this one and if you have any change left over buy the single for your best friend. This is music as real as it gets.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Introduction, April 15, 2011

A Woman's Heart 2 is a good album by itself -- even better, it's a great sampling of artists.

Sailing By, Sinead Lohan. Catchy and pretty, this song is my favorite of all her music, but I absolutely love her style. No Mermaid and Who do you think I am are sadly her only CDs but they are excellent. She has a lovely, calm voice with a beautiful Irish accent.

Talk to Me While I'm Listening, Frances Black (of Arcady). While not as popular as her sister Mary Black, she has some good songs. This song is jazzy.

Invisible, Mary Coughlan. I love this song, it's kind of sad but with upbeat music. I haven't liked anything else from Coughlan, though.
I Can't Make You Love Me I think is also this artist, but I dislike this song.

Saw You Running, Mary Black. A fun song. If you like the style definitely check out her other CDs.
If I Gave My Heart to You, I think this is also Mary Black, but not fond of this one.

Never Be the Sun, Dolores Keane (of De Dannan). I'm not fond of this song, but I recommend her album Dolores Keane.
Solid Ground, same artist, best of all her songs! To me it is very Irish. Upbeat and fantastic.

Bungee Jumpers, and Sparky, Sharon Shannon. Instrumental and catchy.

Trouble in the Fields, and Western Highway, Maura O'Connell. Very pretty. Her voice is lovely. I recommend Walls & Windows.

Three Babies, Sinead O'Connor. You may love this song, you may hate it. I thought it was heartbreaking and I really like her style in this song. I don't really recommend any of her CDs, though, except Sean-Nos Nua.

A Mháithrín Dhíleas, Maighread Ni Dhomhnaill. Really pretty. I've liked the music I've heard from this artist so far.

Don't Explain ? ; Fear Is the Enemy ? Well, forgettable I guess.

16 tracks, full of fun, sad, and beautiful music. Irish, folk, jazz, a little bit of country. Recommended!
