I love this journal. The quotes from the women are timeless, insightful, and witty. I love the attached ribbon for bookmarking. I try not to read the next quote so I can save it for next time. I enjoyed this so much that I bought one for my Mom and my Sister. I also bought another one for myself since I am almost finished with mine and I haven't found another I like. The pages in this journal are unlined, but they are thick which is great for writing with a fountian pen.

I've filled seven of these and will soon order my eighth volume. The quotes range from somber to silly, and I'm still finding new ones even after seeing them again and again. The blue bindings look nice lined up together on my bookshelf. I like the unlined pages for the occasional sketch, clipping or autumn leaf.

I used this journal when I spent a semester studying in England. It has thoughtful quotes and unlined pages, as well as a nice sturdy book binding. It is taller than most journals, and it really does invite you to write inside. The cover is very attractive, and the blue cloth feels great in your hands. There is a ribbon marker, and the pages are the perfect weight. I will be purchasing journals from this company in the future, and highly recommend them! They hold up very well and have a quality look and feel.

This journal features quotes by women which are thoughtful and insightful. If you like writing in a journal, chances are you feel that finding the right one is important. . . I have missed this one ever since I filled it up, and I bought another one made by the same company. . . I am counting the days til I can use it again. It's unlined, which is a nice feature.

I love this Journal with it's quotes on each page. The quotations often fit my mood the moment I sit down to begin writing in it's pages. I have purchased several to give away as gifts and often it is the highlight of a birthday party when we start reading the quotations out loud in a group. I highly recommend it as a gift to give away or to keep for yourself.

I am very picky when it comes to journals - this journal fits my needs; the unlined pages allow you to write as your mood dictates, it's a great size and thick. The quotes get a little repetitious, but I suppose that doesn't really matter. There are also sketches of flowers on every page that are very pretty.

... I might have to get another one of these.

This is a really beautiful journal with clever quotes by talented women on each page. I bought this for my youngest daughter who is a journaling maniac. She has kept detailed journals since she was about 6 years old and now has a huge library of them.
A couple of weeks ago she said her journals were all full and it would be great to get a new one for Christmas. After reviewing several other journals and their reviews here I chose two; this one and I Hope You Dance (it is beautiful as well).
The pages are blank so she can write as well as sketch on the pages. The pages are heavy enough that she can write on both sides of each leaf but the best part is the quotes and the artwork.
The drawings are imaginative and sedate, not so distracing when you are trying to write down your thoughts. Both of the journals were excellent and she really liked them both.
This journal however is bound into a hard book cover and it does not lay flat very well which can make writing in it akward at times. It would only be better if it were spiral bound. Great piece though.

I started writing a journal this year and I am so glad I chose this journal. It is decent size, bordering on the bigger size. It open flat. It has a blue binding and the paper is of a high quality. The quotes in it are so appropriate for women.My only quibble is that the prints of flowers on the top and bottom of the pages could have been of a nice pastel color instead of the browinsh tinge that they have.

I am very satisfied with this journal. My first entry was January, 1993. I have totally finished three books, and went to the book store to purchase my 4th. They were no longer being sold there. Thank God that we have an internet and Google and Amazon.com. I am purchasing 3 today online for the next 17 years. I am 70 years old.

While the little quotes are nice on each page, that is about the only thing this book has got going for it. It does not lie flat to allow for easy writing in it, and the cover feels like an old textbook. I was very disappointed.
