A must read!,
This review is from: Woman's Work: Story of the Focolare Movement and Its Founder (Paperback)
This is a great "first" book on the Focolare movement. It is easy to read as it unfolds just what Chiara Lubich's dream was for the Catholic Church and how the Holy Spirit helped her in accomplishing that dream. It gives a sense of hope to the coming of the Kingdom of God in a way in which we can all join.

As a member of the ocolare Movement for since 1975, I am acquainted with the beauty and godliness of the character of Chiara Lubich. She has given us a new outlook on the church and the way of living the Gospel. She has brought people closer to God in so many countries, she will certainly have a special place
with the saints.

A living Saint's life reflected with warmth and admiration,
By A Customer
This review is from: Woman's Work: Story of the Focolare Movement and Its Founder (Paperback)
This book shouldn't be exposed only under the "religious books" category. It has a wider coverage by far. It reflects the daily life of a Woman that was called to transform the way we "live" religion. And lives this way. Her dialogues with other christians, other religions, "non believers" and each one that has virtues and respects basic principles leads us to the hope of a better world. And not only to the hope but to the reality of this LIFE practiced in so many places in the world through her "cittadadellas". Jim Gallagher has gone deeply into Chiara Lubich's beliefs, and has transmitted her values and her life in a way that makes us want to be "Chiara's sons", as her Buddist friends said.
