This calendar features a large scaled photograph each month of several African women from different parts of the continent. The women and sometimes children are involved with various rites, ceremonies or activities. "Women of the African Ark" is a celebration of the complexity, variety and richness of African culture from across the continent, expressed by African women and children. I highly recommend this calendar to people who enjoy beauty and the celebration of culture.
