This is a brillant collection (in three volume set) of anecdotical narratives of the extraordiary, and often forgotten, 18th Century Women. Each memoir is a wealth of information, entertaining, and, more importantly, a tribute to the ingenuity and resolve of colonial women who sacrificed and risked so much in America's stuggle for freedom and indpendence. This series is a must have for every American Revolution library.

As the title says, this is the CD version of a classic set. You don't get that old book smell that I love so much, but you get all three volumes of The Women of the American Revolution on one CD.

In addition to famous names like Martha Washington, there is much information on women you may never have heard of, but each of them adds to the narrative of the American Revolution.

I purchased this CD to do some family history research and it is full of useful information.
