Elizabeth Welles is a performance artist, poet, and writer dedicated to nurturing the seeds of creativity, joy, and peace that reside in the human heart. She began writing before the age of seven, and especially loves the art of storytelling in any form, be it on the stage or the page.
Elizabeth is the editor of the book, Women Celebrate: The Gift in Every Moment, the creator of the CD, Meditation for Relaxation, and the founder of The Four Wisdoms of CreativityTM and The ISIS Method for Stress Reduction. She regularly performs her one-woman shows, Speak the Lands of My Heart, about a journey to India, and Water from the Welles, an entertaining collection of monologues, stories, poems and songs that connect the listener to their own inner resources of wisdom and compassion.
A naturally gifted speaker, Elizabeth immediately puts her audiences at ease - whether in India, Japan, Nepal, Europe or at home in the United States - sharing and celebrating the common threads of humanity that connect us all.
Journaling for Well-Being & Peace is Elizabeth's second book.
She has facilitated workshops on journaling, story, meditation and relaxation to enhance creativity, laughter, and peace, for over twenty years.
