I just finished a 14 week study of this book along with a group of friends. We all felt we experienced much personal growth as a result of reading this book. We also bonded together as a group & spent time sharing helpful life experiences with one another. In short, I think we connected with one another while learning from the book how to set boundaries, how to be a people helper, how to nourish ourselves as well as others in our lives, how to resolve conflicts in a way that benefits all involved. The book offered very practical, hands on advice on ways to enrich and improve your life, thereby enriching and improving the lives of others you have contact with. The book is also thought-provoking and causes you to search your soul for answers.
This book teaches you how to have relationship skills.

Some books I read once, enjoy and put back on the shelf to wait 4 or 5 years to read it again. Verna's book is NOT one of those put-back-on-the-shelf books. After reading it a couple of times I am now outlining the book to prayerfully think through the numerous biblica truths that she shares. I am a christian university/seminary professor in Colombia, South America and am using this book in training women's ministry leaders. I believe it will be a true blessing to any woman who reads it and has a heart to serve women or would LIKE to have a heart to serve women.

This book is life-changing. I am "Candace" who struggled with boundries and you'll find my story at the end of "More about Boundries". A must read book for any woman.
