This is probably the best documentary on (women's) country music that I have seen! It is a must to own! The women look sensational! They have the looks and they have the voice! It is available on DVD at Amazon.co.uk for those who want it on DVD format.

5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding concert video., November 23, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Women of Country 1 [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This concert video is also a documentary of women in the evolution of country music. The focus on the present and its links to the past are outstanding. The interspersing of history with the actual concert is very well done and the overall impact, at least on this viewer, was overwhelming. I am not ordinarily a country music fan, but found this documentary enjoyable and inspiring. I watch it over and over. My only criticism is the marketing trick of placing on two VHS tapes a presentation that could have been easily placed on one. The artists on this video and the message is better than the packaging.
