A Good Overview!,

This book does an excellent job of compiling and presenting a lot of information on women from this time period. The focus is on their place in Fatimid society. The list of references provides the more serious researcher with information that will allow them to find and locate the primary sources and continue their studies at a deeper level.
It is well written and easy to read. It is written for the casual reader and for the more academic reader. Both will find information and enjoyment. |
