I feel like any one of these 20 women could be my friend. And in a way, they kind of are, now that I know their most intimate stories. In stereotypical fashion, I'll admit that I laughed (at Holly Getty's childhood artistry) and cried (at Lori Phillips Gagnon's path to new found strength). In the end, I felt enriched by living through these experiences.

Women on Fire: brings us inspired insights from transformed women. The book is a great read, full of graceful and grace filled life stories we are planing to use in our own "writing down our lives" circle here in Cleveland/Ohio

Picking up this book is like having front row seats to the lives of 20 amazing women and reading their inspiring life journeys. Each chapter opens a window into the stuggles and trials of each of these women, guiding us through their challenges and heartache but ending with hope, happiness and worthy accomplishments. You will laugh at some and cry at others! My only regret is that the book isn't longer! Debbie Phillips has the innate gift of bringing women together to share themselves with others. I already look forward to volume II of Women on Fire!!

Thank you so much, Debbie, for allowing me to be a fly on the wall in these women's lives. I took the book everywhere with me (even on a cruise to Mexico!) until I finally finished it today while I was sitting at the doctor's office.

Life is definitely meant to be lived to its greatest potential (whether you mean to or not)...so we can learn and share what we've learned with others - thank you for illustrating that with Women on Fire.

The only disappointment was that your story wasn't weaved in throughout the book. I was eager to learn more about your story, and why you've become such an inspiration to the authors. Other than that, phenomenal read. Bravo!

I started reading this book on the subway after a long day at work. I didn't want to stop reading. I didn't want to get off at my stop. I would have ridden to Mars if it meant I could keep reading the amazing stories of lives, dreams, and passions so similar to those that burn inside of me. Women On Fire left me feeling just that....on fire! I was so inspired by the many stories from passionate, strong, motivated women. I related in some way to every story. What an amazing revelation that I "wasn't always the only one....." Thank you to the courageous women who shared their stories.

I just finished reading Women on Fire, and I hear music coming from its printed pages. Each individual woman tells a story using her own unique voice. Their voices blend to make a shout chorus of courage and commitment to transformation and healing. I feel like I know the tune by heart and can't help but sing along. Brava to Debbie Phillips and authors!
