This book is amazing - it is practical and Scriptural. It focuses on the heart issues behind several major sin-related problems of today. This book demonstrates that our biggest problem is sin and it identifies the root of such things as overeating/bulimia, additions, and sexual sins for what they really are, selfishness, unbelief and greed. This book gives hope and practical advice so that we can overcome these things with the power of God! I highly recommend it!

The "look inside" feature of this book was extremely helpful in determining if this book was going to cover the topics that I was researching. The topics included in this book are common issues that women face and provided the insight and direction necessary to help ladies through these issues through the power of the Word of God to change lives. It was awesome!

I had borrowed this book from a friend and referred to it so much I decided that I needed one of my own for reference. I do a lot of counseling and found it very helpful and Biblically based.

I like the layout, a real life case study is presented then every question concerning that issue is examined in light of what Scripture says. Strategies for counseling are presented with Scriptural reference and application. Also several reading recommendations are listed in the back of each section.

The counseling strategies are challenging and cover areas that are usually avoided like: Single teen mothers, post-abortion issues, adoption and overeating.

I would highly recommend this book for self improvement and counseling others.

This book is very insightful and helpful for Women who want to help other women. The Author starts with a good foundation, The Word of God and builds from there. I am using this for a textbook for one of my classes and am now glad that I purchased it for my own library.

A great book. I have purchased several to give to friends of mine in hopes that they to will apply the principals and help other women.

This is a great resource if you are in a position of counseling women, or even if you're not. I like the way it's categorized by different situations. I would recommend this to any woman. If you're like me, you'll find yourself using it to counsel your own heart.
