This is a wonderful study for women. It addressed a lot of issues I wanted to dig into. Including Submission. In the context of submission, there is one page devoted to when it is appropriate to separate from your husband due to abuse. I mention this because I have found that there are so few resources that biblically talk about this issue. I have shared that excerpt with several friends. I wish it was longer than one page, but one page is enough to be helpful since it is not the focus of the study.

I would highly recommend this study to any wife--even more than The Excellent Wife by Martha Peace (a book I like, but I am careful what I take from it because it can be a legalistic approach to marriage). There is a tone of grace in this study, which is missing from many studies about marriage.

We used this book in our Bible study and it was wonderful. It prompted great discussions and really made everyone think about how much we woman can impact our marriage in a positive way.

"Women Making A Difference In Marriage" is a life-changing eight-week Bible study by Lana Packer. The lessons you will take away from the two months spent in these pages are so simple, yet have incredible impact on life, marriage and other relationships. Putting the primary focus on Christ is the key to any God-centered life, and this study emphasizes that point over and over again. Practicing a God-centered lifestyle removes the burden from others in our lives to fulfill us - leaving that responsibility to Christ, where it belongs.

This study relieves burdens and brings freedom. It builds character and relationships and destroys barriers and obstacles. Each week is divided into five days' worth of homework, each day can be completed in 30 minutes or less. The writing is sincere and inspiring, making the reader want to be the woman God created her to be.

This is the third time I've done this study, and I'm sure I'll do it again.

Before starting this Bible study I was not sure what to expect, but knew that I wanted to do it! Lana is simply amazing. The way she takes you back to the basics in this study. Through God's word and her words she will help you to see things in a way that you have never seen them before.

This study is for all women: women struggling in their marriage, women that are HAPPY in their marriage, women wanting to discover God's design for them in their marriage, women of all ages, women just married or women that have been married for years. I recommend this Bible study to woman. It is the best Bible study that I have done and I am sure that it will remain that way. As I can see myself picking this back up over and over again.

It's been a great resource. Goes straight to the heart. Challenging yourself, your foundations and your heart. I totally recommend it, even if you have a great marriage.

This book saved my marriage. I had filed for divorce and we were living separately. I hated that, he was my best friend and I loved him. I also didn't believe God wants divorce so I was struggling with this. A mentor of mine told me to read this book. This book taught me that what the world says makes a good marriage is not correct. We decided what a good marriage FOR US was and created that foundation for ourselves. Then we learned to bring God into the center of our marriage and build upon that foundation. Before we knew it we cancelled the divorce and have been living happily ever after since. It's important to not listen to the world. Who cares if he doesn't take out the trash or if he doesn't put his shoes away, does that define your marriage anyways? Postmodernism says to choose the path that makes you happy but the truth is if you walk thru fire you will get burned. Gods' path is not always peaceful, but it is the most joyous and rewarding! This book teaches you to make a marriage that is right for you and your spouse with God at the heart of it!
