Very informative book but WHY is it so expensive?,

Yes, this book does give a lot of wonderful and useful information on the lives of women in Byzantium, but I don't understand why amazon.com is charging such an outrageous price for this book! I found it at my local university library and love to purchase for my own collection, but I think the price is much too high!
