This review is from: Women and Revolution: A Discussion of the Unhappy Marriage of Marxism and Feminism (South End Press Political Controversies Series) (Paperback)
These series of essays, edited by Lydia Sargent, many aspects of the debate surrounding combining socialism and feminism in such a way that does justice to feminism. I give this book an A+. The contributors are articulate and informed. Their arguments, from redefining patriarchy to restructuring Marxism, are concise and thought-provoking. |
