Freeing and inspiring,
This review is from: Women: God's Secret Weapon (Paperback)
This was a great book. It had some truths in it I hadn't ever known before. A must read for those women who would like to do something for God but feel they don't have what it takes.

Scripture Is Handled Well in Silvoso "Women: God's Secret Weapon",
This review is from: Women: God's Secret Weapon (Paperback)
I have to disagree with another reviewer: Ed Silvoso not only makes good points about God's desire to use women as His secret weapon in these End Times to advance the Kingdom and the gospel, but Silvoso interprets Scripture quite well. I see no evidence of mishandling Scripture or misinterpreting it, as an earlier reviewer claims. This book is strong in its message and strong biblically. Gary S. This review is from: Women: God's Secret Weapon: God's Inspiring Message to Women of Power, Purpose and Destiny (Paperback)
This is an astounding book! I found it really enjoyable to read, so far as the relaxed writing style. Silvoso explores the value of women in his new book. Any woman who is feeling that they are not important or vital to the kingdom work would benefit from this book. Silvoso shows how God has a specefic and special purpose for women in this world in the spiritual battles of the time. He shows how women where specifically designed for certain tasks in the kingdom work and how they are truelly essential to the plan God has put in motion. I do however have one reservation about this book. This is that the author seems to stretch the meaning of some scripture. At some points even taking some scriptures out of context in order to make it fit his agenda. Although I most full heartily agree that women are created for a specific purpose in the kingdom work, I do not think they hold a higher use than men. It is almost as if this author is trying to place women in an exalted position of spiritual authority - I beleive this to be a dangerously slippery slope into pride and sin.
Thank you Gospel Light for this review copy.

A MUST READ FOR ALL WOMEN,

This review is from: Women: God's Secret Weapon: God's Inspiring Message to Women of Power, Purpose and Destiny (Paperback)
This book is life changing and it should be read by both men and women alike. You would think that this book would have been written by a woman but it is written by a man. It is the best thing to hit the racks in a long, long time to bring out the truth about Women of Purpose and Ministry. Love this and have given it as a gift to many.

Good points; BAD use of Scripture,
By
This review is from: Women: God's Secret Weapon (Paperback)
While Ed does have some valuable points to make, I'm sorry to say that the way in which he goes about it involves some very inaccurate exegetical and hermeneutical methods. I certainly agree that women have a special, unique role that God wishes for them to fulfill, but I'm afraid that Silvoso's use of Scripture is quite irresponsible and relies on superficial research. The problem here is that he has good things to say, so people like the book, but he does so at the expense of proper treatment of the Bible that most will not pick up on, which is evident in the other reviews it has received. I don't think his positive points are worth the very poor use of the Bible that is consistently and completely out of context.

I loved reading this book. It helped me to better understand my purpose in relation to my husband. This is a great book for men who struggle to understand women. This book is does not "man-hate" or anything like that. It is very well written and was a pleasure to read.

This is an awesome read! Words cannot express the revelations revealed through this book. I belong to a book club at my church and I will be suggesting this book as our next study. It took me 1 DAY 1/2 to read this entire book. Once I started; I couldn't put it down. I am also a memeber of a few sites and I have suggested this book to all of my on-line friends; not to mention my own personal family and friends.
I just want to thank Mr. Silvoso for allowing God to speak to him and use him to bring forth this mighty book. The revelation that is in this book could have only been given to him from God. Mr. Silvoso, thank you for being obedient to God's instructions. Everyone, including men, should read this book. Thank you again Mr. Silvoso. THIS BOOK HAS CHANGED MY LIFE!!!

This review is from: Women: God's Secret Weapon (Paperback)
Ed does a great job of telling women the greatest we've been designed for on this earth. His supporting evidence give substance to why we GOD continues to use women in mighty ways. This book is empowering especially for women who desire to serve in GOD's kingdom.
