7 of 7 people found the following review helpful By SONJA B. MONTGOMERY on July 30, 1998
Format: Hardcover
Easy to read book with numerous examples for handouts and activities. May apply to group, as well as individual counseling for survivors of childhood sexual assault and abuse. The multi-modal approach incorporated several theories, focusing on the goals of feeling better, rather than just getting through one's issues.

Great tips and by week group session curriculum. The message is simple, trauma impacts who we are and sexual trauma at a young age can have lasting impacts. This workbook helps the facilitator get a clear picture on how to move the victim to becoming more than just a survivor.
