5.0 out of 5 stars A Paul Kelly classic, July 10, 2002
By "redlucifer" (Sydney, Australia) - See all my reviews
It is hard to describe the body of work that Paul Kelly has developed over the years if you haven't lived in Australia. This compilation of his songs by the creme of Australia's female vocal talent has produced similar results to the many years of covers of Leonard Cohen songs by famous artists. Paul Kelly, renowned for his sensitive lyrics and acoustic sounds, has his work re-interpreted by the most talented of Australian artists with the most pleasing of results. Even if you're not familiar with his work or the artists singing his songs, but like songs with strong lyrics and melodies, there is something on this CD for all tastes.
