This book definitely has its flaws; I found it to be incomplete in many ways. But it's worth reading because it's an alternate narrative. In our culture, women are often told that marriage is the only game in town. So, I think it's extremely important to acknowledge that we do have alternatives, if we desire them, and I wish more books would explore similar ideas.

Dr. Wolfe is an anthropologist who has been observing human sexuality/ marriage/ cultures outside the U.S for years. Her book gives an indepth look into possibilities for thoes women not wishing to enter into marriage. This book can help answer the question "what else is there."
