Amazing.,

This review is from: Women Who Win (Paperback)
A wonder full book for all ages. Inspiring photos of Aimme Mullins, whos legs were amputated at a young age, Teresa Edwards and more, make you want to read on this wonderfully illustrated book. Ms.Lessa captures the true nature of these women. You ususally don't see Tara Lipinski up close, not skating on the ice; but Ms. Lessa made sure her photos were unique. I am 12 years old and I thoroughly enjoyed the writing, the way the author portays the lives of these women is 'fabu' BOTTOM LINE: This book is excellent- A MUST HAVE FOR ASPIRING ATHLETES! :)

"Women who Win" is a great book and very inspirational! It teaches, esspecially young athletes, the importance of perseverance. The athletes tell of their hardships and how they became sucessful which is very motivational. It really taught me about the importance of perseverance and how much of a role model one must be.
